What was your motivation for enrolling in this course?
I saw the statement by CIWEM announcing this wastewater treatment technology being the best tech breakthrough of the past decade. I couldn't resist knowing more about it.
 
How did/will this course impact your career or life?
I have always been in technical sales in the field of Water and Wastewater treatment. This course helps me keep pace with the leading technology of the future. I want to be the one that shows other consultants how to decrease footprint and simplify biological nutrient removal.
 
How was your experience of learning online?
I loved the lectures and the supplemental papers. Being a mechanical engineer, I struggled somewhat with some of the biology and especially the optimization of the reactor sizing and cycles. However, I fully understand the concepts and their value. I should have used the conversation section much more. There were many good discussions. 
 
What advice would you give someone who is thinking of taking a similar course?
Ask a lot of questions on the conversation page. The staff and other students will help you in your quest to understand.
