While working as a Design Anthropologist, Tina Lenz participated in the online course Culture Sensitive Design. Read about her experience.
What was your motivation for enrolling in the course? And has the course had any impact on your day-to-day work, career, etc.?
I wanted to merge creative knowledge and anthropological methods with useful skills of this online course Cultural Sensitive Design. The weekly sessions of Annemiek van Boeijen & course participants were useful input for my lectures Cultural Diversity at Art school WdKA Rotterdam and will be part of the course Design Anthropology I'm preparing for October at Central Academy of Fine Arts at Beijing.
To what extent did you benefit from the masters students’ work?
The connection with master TU students was very fruitful. I made new interesting connections and could compare their outcomes with the results of 'designing rituals' course of my bachelor art & design students.
How would you describe your online learning experience?
It was well organised and well structured.
What did you think of the online learning environment?
I felt close connected with all online participants and masterstudents. The feedback was useful and Annemiek van Boeijen responded directly.
