What was your motivation for enrolling in the course?
As Structural Engineer, I am constantly searching for materials that could offer better performance from a structural point of view. My main motivation was to understand how could the versatility that FRP composites present be an asset for designing lighter structures.
Additionally, as I consider myself a growth mind-set person, I am always eager to learn more.
How did/will this course impact your career or life?
The course was very well structured covering several key aspects of FRPs: from theoretical background to real design exercises. This provided me with sufficient knowledge and allowed me to engage in national and international research projects with confidence.
How was your experience learning online?
When well structured, an online course can be a very pleasant experience as you are able to make your own schedule. I was able to organise myself and did not feel I was losing important information. Teamwork was difficult, but feasible.
