Bio

Roelof Koekoek is an assistant professor for mathematics at the Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics (DIAM) of the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS) at the Delft University of Technology. He studied mathematics at the University of Groningen, where he also acquired his first degree teaching qualification in mathematics.

In 1990 he received his PhD at Delft University Technology with a dissertation titled "Generalizations of the classical Laguerre polynomials and some q-analogues".

Hypergeometric Orthogonal Polynomials and Their q-Analogues.
Differential equations for generalized Laguerre and Jacobi polynomials.
