In order to remain relevant as architect and smart city designer I'm always searching for new ideas and guidance. Being engaged in a continual learning process is an important aspect in personal and professional development.

The structured information provided by engaged professionals greatly enhanced my understanding of the city, its problems and opportunities in urban planning.
How was your experience of learning online?
The flexibility of this learning experience gave me the chance to attend the course in my own time. The interaction with the lecturers and learners from all over the world kept me motivated and the weekly feedback encouraged me to continue my efforts.
What advice would you give someone who is thinking of taking a similar course?
In my learning experience it was important to dedicate the necessary time to assignments and weekly activities. The city photo sessions and the map sketches were relevant in information processing.
