What was your motivation for enrolling in this course/program?
I am an AA visting school tutor, part time, dealing with abandoned urban mega metropolitan structures in Berlin, like Tempelhof Airport and ICC. This deals with circularity at an urban level and I was curious to learn more from this course.
How did/will this course impact your career or life?
I found the course flexibility to be a great advantage, and how it discusses the various scales. As I consider taking a Masters in Urban Design, I wanted to use this certificate of completion to tailor and show my motivations to pursuing a degree in my applications.
How was your experience of learning online?
I enjoyed the flexibility, and control I had over speed of videos. This was helpful as I can listen to them as podcasts on my way to work as well. I do think that some videos are older than others, and would be nice to update and improve the syllabus with new examples, but otherwise was a great learning experience.
What advice would you give someone who is thinking of taking a similar course?
Take it all in and truly question your surroundings. This course will encourage you to interrogate existing systems and think critically. If you're passionate and curious about circularity, this course is for you!
