What was your motivation for enrolling in the course(s)? And has the course had any impact on your day-to-day work, career, etc.?
Taking the course was part of my Marie Curie project training plan and the contents of the course were directly linked to my research plan. I wanted to learn the methodological approach provided by the course with the purpose of applying it in my work. The course was crucial for me to be able to implement such methodology.

Also, coming from a different research field from mine, it has been really inspiring and has stirred new ideas and shown me a new body of knowledge I was not aware of. Although the impact is yet to come, I am already pursuing some projects on this new direction that would have remained hidden if it wasn’t because of this course.

How would you describe your online learning experience?
The course structure and contents were adequate and, given that I took the course under extraordinary circumstances (the Coronavirus lockdown took place in the last weeks of the course), communication with the staff was great and crucial for successfully finishing the course.

I enjoyed a lot the content of the videos as well as the fact that it included guest lectures offering alternative views. Also the examples provided were extremely helpful as well as the design of the exercises.

What did you think of the online learning environment?
Feedback and communication with the lecturer was extremely fluent and very helpful. The lecturer was quick in responding and stirred conversations among the students. Here I must point out that the personalized attention to each student was a big bonus, trying to adapt the contents and inform students based on the particular needs that each of us showed.

I encourage any potential student to consider taking this course. It is one of a kind in terms of content and approach, presenting cutting-edge scientific findings and case studies, and adapting perfectly to each students’ needs and demands.
