What was your motivation for enrolling in this course/program?
I am a Remote Sensing and GIS specialist, working and analyzing satellite imagery since 1995. Keen to understand infrastructure such as urban, road network, urban growth and expansion. Looking to improve my skills and knowledge about waterfront and ports, site functionality and changes, merging urban planning with location-based technology, studying the impact of ports expansion on economy, social and environmental aspects.

How did/will this course impact your career or life?
This course gave me another perspective of how to get prepared, methodology and analytic techniques to breakdown the area of interest (ports) into a set of measures helping me to collect more information about how the expansion was happened? and why?. Finding the roots, and catching guides that affected how the port was reformed and extended.

How was your experience of learning online?
Having the chance to improve my understanding about ports in online-mode with a high quality topics and interactive learning approach, was a very exciting experiment for me. Arranging enough time to studying course contents based on my free schedules is a really flexible way to make the balance between daily work and learning process.
