Has the course had any impact on your day-to-day work, career, etc.? What was your motivation for enrolling in the course?
I started working for a bank after years of academia, in a field surely related, but totally different than finance. I studied engineering, mathematics, and I found myself in a new, challenging environment when I joined a bank. I was eager to learn more about credit models, and after attending the introduction to credit risk management course online, I decided to take the next step and proceed with the advanced course. It was a wise decision, I managed to learn a lot of the basics I need in my daily work. I could have studied it from a book, but instead I enrolled in the course to get insights from other professionals in the field: this was really helpful to get the knowledge I needed.

Summing it up, this course surely helped me to get all the knowledge I need, and it’s a valuable experience that also boosts my career.

How would you describe your online learning experience?
The online learning experience was pleasant. It was well paced, easily accessible, the study material was of good quality and the assignments were simple enough to be carried on while working, but still not oversimplified, retaining a good adherence to business cases I experienced in my job.

The course satisfied my needs, the topics covered were absolutely relevant, and the lecture notes and slides were clear and informative. The extra material provided on the platform was an interesting read, which I would have probably missed if it wasn’t suggested in the course. The videos were also very clear, packed with information but well explained.

What did you think of the online learning environment?
Overall the experience with the learning environment was good. The course is well structured, with a nice mix of videos, notes, slides and tests. I did not experience major issues with the platform itself.

I do recommend taking a course like this. It is an easy, accessible and interactive way of learning. The workload is well balanced, the instructor is great, the topics covered are relevant and interesting.
