What was your motivation for enrolling in this course/program?I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Industrialized Wood Construction, and this course greatly complemented my research topic. My research focuses on exploring the potential of medium-rise industrialized wood houses to contribute to the circular economy in construction. Specifically, I examined the case study of the Industrialized Housing Project DS 49 in Lo Espejo, Santiago de Chile.
How did/will this course impact your career or life?
This course helped me broaden my perspective beyond national expectations. By reviewing the advancements already made in the Netherlands, I realized how these practices can be adapted and replicated in Chile.
How was your experience of learning online?
I really appreciated the interactive learning approach, particularly the task of taking photos of buildings. This exercise required me to step away from my desk and actively engage with my surroundings, which was very motivating and rewarding.
