What was your motivation for enrolling in this course/program?
With this course I aimed at gaining a deeper knowledge in the connection between port and cities and they importance of this relationship, not only for the citizens and workers but also for the economy of the city and port as well as for the environment. Each of the sessions/videos are focused on a specific aspect, which together give you a broader vision of the impact and importance of having said relationship and the keys to preserve/maintain it.

How did/will this course impact your career or life?
I currently work in ESPO, an organisation which is the principal interface between European seaports and the EU institutions therefore this course gave me the knowledge to better understand the interconnectedness between the different actors in the port city relations and the relevance of the space and culture.

How was your experience of learning online?
I really like the format, self-paced, as in my case I'm also working so is a good way to organise yourself if you have further commitments.

What advice would you give someone who is thinking of taking a similar course?
I would encourage taking this course, it is very practical and useful. The videos and explanations are clear and easy to follow, there is no need for a previous experience of knowledge on the topic.
