Financial Support for Online Education

Have you always been interested in following a professional education course at TU Delft but haven’t had the resources to participate? 

The Extension School for Continuing Education, with the generous backing of the Delft University Fund, will offer financial support to a selection of participants living in low- and middle-income countries who would otherwise not have the opportunity to follow the professional education courses provided by TU Delft. 

This financial support covers 100% of the course fee (up to €1,000). 

See eligible courses below and please do NOT enroll in the course of your choice before you receive the notification that your application has been successful.

Eligible Courses were:  

   Aeroacoustics: Noise Reduction Strategies (starts March 27)

   Aerobic Granular Sludge Technology for Wastewater Treatment (starts April 10)

   Road Safety (starts May 8)

   Multi-stakeholder Strategies: Analysis for Winning Coalitions (starts May 8)

   Cybersecurity for Managers and Executives: Taking the Lead (starts May 15)

   Water Systems Design: Learning from the Past for Resilient Water Futures (start May 29)

   AI in Manufacturing (starts May 29)

   Nanofiltration and Reverse Osmosis in Water Treatment (starts September 25)

   Spatial Circularity Strategies for Sustainable Regional Development (starts October 9)


Application Process 

  • Check that you live in one of the eligible countries
  • Fill out the application form, providing accurate information about yourself, your academic background, financial situation, aspirations, and why you believe you're a deserving candidate. Please do NOT enroll in the course of your choice before you receive the notification that your application has been successful.
  • Commit to, upon completion of the course, share a testimonial. 

Requirements 
This financial support can only be granted to participants living in one of the eligible countries and for the courses listed above. Some of these courses may have prerequisites; please check if you fulfil these before applying for financial aid. Entry requirements can be found under the Admission  tab of each course. 

Selection Process 
After carefully reviewing all applications, based on the eligibility criteria and motivation, a selection of candidates will be invited to take part in a 15-minute video call with the selection committee to discuss their interest in the course of their choice. Successful applicants will be notified on the announcement date. Please do not enroll in the course before you receive this notification.
