Bio

Thaleia Konstantinou is assistant professor at the Chair Building Product Innovation, TU Delft. She has studied Architecture and Environmental Design and Engineering. In September 2014, she concluded her PhD research at the Faculty of Architecture, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. Within the scope of her research, Thaleia Konstantinou developed a tool to support the decision making of energy upgrade strategies.

Currently, her research and education-related activities focus on energy efficiency, circularity, façade design and building products, working on an integrated approach for the decarbonisation of the built environment. Some projects that she actively participates in are the research project "2ndSkin: zero-energy refurbishment module" and "Beyond the Current: user preference tested design solutions for energy-efficient housing renovation".
