Bio
Stefan Buijsman is an associate professor in philosophy at the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). His research is on the information needed to develop and use AI responsibly, encompassing issues such as transparency and explainability of AI. In addition, he leads the TU Delft Digital Ethics Centre, which is dedicated to ensuring that ethical values are embedded into the design and governance of digital technologies. As such, he oversees projects with AI in the public and healthcare sector working closely with the implementing organizations to ensure responsible design and use.
Stefan has written three popular science books, including one on AI.
