Primož Podržaj is a full professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. He is the head of the Laboratory for Mechatronics, Production Systems and Automation LAMPA. He received his master’s in mechanical engineering in 2000 and his Ph.D. in 2004 from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana.

He lectures courses on Discrete Control Systems, Advanced Sensory systems and Networks, Mechatronic Actuators and Mechatronic Systems Control. He was the coordinator in one Eureka project (RWC) and several Erasmus+ project (ICCT, BLISS, TET, TAI) and partner in one LdV project (HPS) and one Erasmus+ project (MAESTRO).

His current research interests are control systems, artificial Intelligence and machine vision.
