Bio

Panagiotis Aivaliotis holds a Diploma in Mechanical and Aeronautics Engineering from the University of Patras. He is a PhD candidate in the Laboratory of Manufacturing Systems focusing on digital modeling and prognostics. He has been actively involved in several EU founded projects (PROGRAMS, AUTORECON, X-Act, ROBO-PARTNER). He has been employed as a researcher in the Laboratory of Manufacturing Systems and Automation (LMS) since 2012.
His main research interests are focused on advanced modelling and simulation, digital twin using physical-based models, machine learning techniques and developing efficient algorithms and methodologies for industrial applications in the fields of robotics and maintenance. He has several publications in international scientific journals and conferences.
Since 2021, he is a Project Manager in the Teaching Factory Competence Center (TF-CC) and his responsibilities include the management of EU funded projects and services that TF-CC provides.
