Bio
Natalia Barbour is an assistant professor at Delft University of Technology. Prior to joining TU Delft she was a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning (DUSP). She holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of South Florida in civil engineering focused on transportation.
Her research interests include travel behavior that is related to shared and new mobility adoption and usage patterns, energy transition, and transport + energy sector coupling.
During her doctoral studies, she received Student of the Year Award and Best Dissertation Award from CTECH at Cornell University, she participated in the Eno Leadership Development Conference for the nation’s top 20 graduate students in Transportation (2018) and was named Emerging Leader in Transportation by NYU Rudin Center (2019).
