Bio
Mario Garzon is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Cognitive Robotics, Delft University of Technology, in the Robot Dynamics Group. He received his MSc and PhD in Automation and Robotics from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid in 2011 and 2016 respectively, overall he has more than 10 years of experience programming robots with ROS, from small home-made robots to mobile-manipulators and autonomous cars.
His current research activities involve planning and decision making for complex situations and multi-robot cooperation. He is also a member of the H2020 EU Project ROSIN: ROS-Industrial Quality-Assured Robot Software Components and he has worked on several other projects involving robot teams for agriculture, surveillance or search and rescue tasks.
