Bio
Jazmin is an assistant professor in Policy Analysis at the Faculty of Technology Policy and Management at TU Delft, where she also serves as Co-Director of the Hippo AI Lab specializing in AI-based decision support for water and climate-economy systems. She holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, USA, and before joining TU Delft, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Environmental Intelligence for the Global Change lab at Politecnico di Milano.
Jazmin integrates hydrologic sciences, AI, and multi-objective optimization to address water and environmental problems. Her primary areas of interest include uncertainty in problem structuring and modeling, such as integrating distributional outcomes in model-based decision support.
