Bio
Francesco Casella is assistant professor at Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches courses on Control Systems and Advanced Process Control for master's students and on Object-Oriented Modelling and Simulation for PhD students.
Francesco authored more than 100 articles in peer reviewed journals and international conference proceedings. He was chair of the 2009 International Modelica Conference, general chair of the 2014 EOOLT Workshop on Equation-Based Object-Oriented Languages and Tools, and program chair of the 2017 International Modelica Conference. He was invited as keynote speaker at the 2016 SIMULTECH Conference in 2016. He is vice-director of the Open Source Modelica Consortium and serves in the Board of the Modelica Association.
