Eleni Papadonikolaki is an associate professor in the Management of Engineering Projects and the Head of the Integral Design & Management section at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, at TU Delft. Prior to joining TU Delft, she worked at University College London (UCL) for seven years as the Founding Director of the MSc in Digital Engineering Management. Eleni is a licensed architect (ARB and TEE-TCG), a Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Eleni is passionate about collaborative and industry-relevant research and helping engineering project teams to manage the interfaces between digital technology and projects. She is the author of over 100 publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and conferences. She has attracted and delivered collaborative research projects funded by European and UK research councils. She is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Project Management (IJPM) with a focus on technology.
