Bio

Dimitris Georgopoulos holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a specialty in Machine Dynamics and Vibrations. His fields of expertise include Structural Analysis, Dynamics of Rotational Systems, Design and Implementation of Automation Solutions, and Design and Implementation of Human-Robot Collaboration Concepts.

He worked as a Researcher in the Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems from 2020 to 2022, where he participated in various EU-funded projects. Since 2022, he has been working as a Project Manager at the Teaching Factory Competence Center. He has also been involved in the design and integration of Industrial Testbeds, and creation of educational and training material regarding Human Robot Collaboration and Industrial Automation.
