Bio

Digvijay Gusain is a PhD researcher on Intelligent Electrical Power Grids at the Department of Electrical Sustainable Energy, TU Delft, The Netherlands. He completed his masters from the same group at TU Delft, working on creating a metaheuristic optimization algorithm for parameter identification of dynamic equivalents for active distribution networks. He has also worked with Electric Power Research Institute, USA, to develop tools and methods for hosting capacity analysis for distribution networks. Currently, he is working with SmartPort and Port of Rotterdam to identify opportunities for energy flexibility and methods to analyze it.

His main and current research interests are co-simulation and control of multi-energy systems. One of the important themes in his works involves using open source tools such as OpenModelica and Python as much as possible.
