Bio

Christian Andersen studied Physics at Aarhus University in Denmark and obtained his PhD in 2016 at the same university. After being a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich he started in Delft working at QuTech. This mission-driven research institute founded by the TU Delft and TNO focuses on quantum technologies. There he leads the Andersen lab, where the team addresses the challenge of achieving the highest performance qubits through novel qubit designs.

As director of QuTech Academy he finds it crucial to inform the public and parties outside academia on quantum.
