Bio

Antonia Denkova holds a PhD in Soft Matter and is currently working as an associate professor in radiochemistry. Typically, her projects focus on the development of new routes for radionuclide production and applying radiation in health applications such as radionuclide therapy and combined therapies, aiming at reducing side effects to healthy tissue. She works closely with the department of Chemical Engineering of TU Delft and academic hospitals such as ErasmusMC and Radboudumc.
She has been teaching for more than 15 years in several courses including Fundamentals of Nuclear Science and Engineering, Nuclear Chemistry and Nuclear Medicine within the Master curricula of Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.
