Albert de Ruiter is the Policy Authority (PA) of the PKIoverheid Dutch Government “Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kingdom Relations” (Logius). In this position he supervises the PKIo system and develops policies for collaborating Trust Service providers. His main purpose is to maintain a reliable and trustworthy PKI system for the Dutch government where civilians, businesses, and government can securely interact with each other through Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
Albert is also the vice chair of the PKI consortium (PKIC.org) and has interest in Quantum-Safe Cryptography program of the Dutch Government. Albert represents the interests of the Dutch government in the HAPKIDO research program to ensure a gradual and safe transition to a Quantum Safe environment.
