Aashna Mittal is a PhD researcher at the Sanitary Engineering section of the faculty of Civil Engineering and GeoSciences. She has an interdisciplinary academic background spanning engineering and social sciences. She graduated with a master’s (cum laude) in Engineering and Policy Analysis from TU Delft in 2019.

Prior to this, she completed her bachelor’s in Electronics and Instrumentation engineering from BITS Pilani, India and pursued the Young India Fellowship in liberal arts from Ashoka University, India.

Aashna’s research is focused on developing serious games to support decision making in the agricultural and urban water management sectors.
