Minimum Technical Requirements
To be able to follow an online course on TU Delft's learning platforms, you will need a reliable, preferably broadband, connection to the Internet. A current, non-beta browser, is required (Internet Explorer is not supported). For best performance, we recommend the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Some of our online courses require browser plug-ins, which are available for free download for the various operating systems. Commonly used plug-ins include:
- Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is needed to view and print PDF files*.

Online Proctored Exams
Some TU Delft courses offer learners online proctored exams, which enables learners to take exams by remote. The learners take a digital version of the exam at a more convenient location for them, under supervision, instead of attending an exam on campus.

* TU Delft does not offer the option of downloading an entire course. Only selected readings, video transcripts, etc. are downloadable; these are indicated by an active download link within the course.
