Bio

Arjen Vaartjes finished his master's thesis at the Kouwenhoven lab in QuTech. He has been involved in experimental research on Andreev Bound States in hybrid nanowires. These states have recenly been proposed as a novel type of qubit and they are of particular interest for Majorana research. Right now, Arjen is continuing his research at QuTech, mainly focussing on analyzing previously measured data.
Previously, Arjen spent half a year abroad for a master's exchange at the DTU in Lyngby, Denmark. He has been a teaching assistant at several TU Delft courses and helped working on a new online learning platform for the QuTech Academy: the School of Quantum.
